LGBTQ+ Advocacy Fund

The Leonard Litz Foundation is pleased to announce the LGBTQ+ Advocacy Fund. While we are grateful and proud to support the important work by nonprofit organizations of all sizes through our Community Grants, we also know that protecting and expanding the safety, equality, and well-being of LGBTQ+ people—especially the most vulnerable in our community, including people of color and the transgender community—sometimes requires substantial and collaborative investment.

The LGBTQ+ Advocacy Fund is intended to support specific projects rooted in pivotal progress for LGBTQ+ people on a broad scale.

In 2021, we were honored to partner with a variety of organizations on this scale. Our grants have helped fund work centered around the disparate treatment of LGBTQ+ people of color throughout the legal system, as well as advocacy on behalf of the rights of transgender individuals in prison. We proudly supported public-private partnerships aimed at building the next generation of LGBTQ+ corporate leaders and public servants, and efforts to help LGBTQ+ students of color navigate the college application process.

How can the LGBTQ+ Advocacy Fund help your efforts to protect and expand the well-being of the LGBTQ+ community?

We invite you to get the conversation started by sending an email to info@leonardlitz.org with a short description and overview of your work. We are eager to collaborate with you on how we can invest in and support our community on a significant scale.

We look forward to hearing from you,

Colin Hosten
